The Springs
Located just a two
minute walk from Ainsworth Motel are the
naturally hot Ainsworth Hot Springs, a great
place to go for a relaxing dip no matter what
the time of year. The Ainsworth Hot Springs
feature a horseshoe shaped cave, where the
darkness, mineral deposits and humidity combine
for a most interesting hot springs experience.
The main pool provides the perfect place to
relax and enjoy some of West Kootenay's majestic
scenery - Purcell Mountains and Kootenay Lake.

The Balfour Golf Course

a short scenic drive from Ainsworth Hot Springs,
you'll find the beautiful Balfour Golf Course.
This 18 hole course is loaded with character and
delivers breathtaking views of the Selkirk and

The Kokanee Springs Golf Resort
Take
the free Kootenay Lake Ferry across scenic
Kootenay Lake and then a short drive and you'll
end up at the award winning Kokanee Springs Golf

World Class fishing
Perhaps you are in for some world class fishing.
You may want to check out Split-Shot Charters
and see if you can catch a big one. They offer
boats from 22' to 50', the 22' will hold up to 4
people and the 44' and 50' will hold up to 8.
You will be supplied with Boat, Tackle and a
Guide for a min 8 hour day. Their boats are
heated and are run by the most experienced
Guides on Kootenay Lake. They have over 25 years
experience.

Cody Caves
Cody
Caves is a unique provincial park located in the
Selkirk Mountains above Ainsworth Hot Springs.
In the Cody Caves System, an underground stream
flows for over a kilometre through ancient
limestone. Visitors are provided with a one hour
tour underground with a professional interpreter
to view a spectacular array of formations such
as stalactites, soda straws, waterfalls,
flowstone, rimstone dams, stalagmites and
draperies.
